On Wednesday I had the opportunity to speak in the Pictage booth in an open, Q&A session with Anne Ruthmann. Kent Meireis was there and photographed us during the program. He even managed to photograph me when one of my images was being displayed on the monitor in the background. Thanks Kent.
Last night I had the privilege of photographing the wedding of one of the Denver Nuggets. Bill Meyer came as my second shooter and Jeremy Ziemba managed the equipment, files, slide show and printed out the album we gave the couple at the end of the evening. The Pinnacle Club looked fantastic and as always the staff did a terrific job. The floral arrangements from Newberry Brothers were stunning! Farrell Woods struck just the right balance and keep the evening flowing just right. Both families treated us like we were old friends. Unfortunately The grooms parents didn’t speak English and I don’t know Portuguese, but the warm smiles said it all. I’d love to post images because the couple looked fantastic but out of respect for their privacy I have been asked not too. As good looking as they are who knows, maybe some day they’ll decide to become movie stars.
I just received an email from Scott Anderson with Pictage and he informed me I was on the Pictage Blog today as they have announced their speaker lineup for their booth at WPPI coming up in less than 2 weeks.
We have just finished configuring our new blog and imported all the old posts. We’re excited about it and will try to share news more often. Enjoy!
